Design
This cabinet was designed to fit a stereo amplifier and turntable on top, as well as a number of vinyl records below. The overall design and dimensions are an extension of the bookshelves and bar cabinet I made earlier. The rear of the cabinet has a hardwood grommet on the wiring porthole.
What went wrong?
The porthole is not my finest work, as the hoop did not quite fit the initial hole and the sanding was tricky. In some ways I would have liked to have made the amplifier shelf taller to accommodate a matching receiver.
